FRICO POTATO
Frico is a Friulian recipe served as a main dish or single dish, made with cheese and native of the mountains of Carnia. This is primarily a dish made from potatoes (diced or grated), onions and melted Montasio cheese, made in a skillet cook together to create a unique amalgam; Once seasoned and cooked slowly all the ingredients, Frico is transferred to a non-stick frying pan and turned over on both sides to reach a nice browned on the outside. You can choose to use the Montasio (or dairy) Seasoned seeds (6 months) or aged (over 10 months) according to your preferences; The original recipe calls for the use of aged cheeses, to make Frico pià still soft inside and to use advanced cheeses.
